Drive Personnel Scoops Top Fundraiser Award for Mountbatten Hampshire
We were thrilled to have been awarded the title of ‘£50 Corporate Challenge Top Fundraiser’ in the 2020-21 Corporate Awards by local charity and hospice Mountbatten Hampshire.
For the third year in a row, we took part in their challenge to raise vital funds for Countess Mountbatten Hospice. The challenge is simple: each business is given £50 and tasked with raising as much money as possible using this initial amount.
To raise money for the hospice, we purchased packs of face masks, which were then distributed to staff and drivers who sold them to their family and friends. The Drive Personnel team also sold a large number of face coverings to customers, with all of the profits donated to Mountbatten. After several months of campaigning and with the help of customers, the team and their families, Drive Personnel raised a whopping £8,010 for the hospice, winning the challenge.
Managing director Chris Bryant commented “This charity is incredibly close to our hearts and we are actively involved in numerous fundraising events for them each year as a business. The corporate challenge is a brilliant way to raise vital funds for the amazing work that the Countess Mountbatten Hospice do every day, and we are very proud to have been involved. We are hoping that we can do the same in 2021.”
