What is a Moffett Driver?
HIAB Moffett is a brand name for a truck mounted forklift, which allows drivers to unload cargo without having to wait for assistance. This means that as well as holding the relevant Class 1 or Class 2 licence, a valid counterbalance forklift license is also required to drive a Moffett vehicle.

Training Opportunities
To work as an HGV Moffett driver, you will need to maintain your certificate of professional competence (CPC), which is something we will help with wherever possible. At Drive Personnel we believe it is important to support our drivers who wish to further their careers and develop new driving skill sets and qualifications. This includes HGV class 1 drivers who wish to take a forklift qualification in order to be able to drive and operate a Moffett truck.
