Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity Sponsorship

As part of Drive Personnel’s work to support local good causes we have recently agreed to sponsor Ruth Andrews the Fundraising Project Manager at the Countess Mountbatten Hospice, to take part in their Indian Himalaya Trek and Community Project. The trek involves 4-days in the Himalaya’s walking from village to village helping support local people, and their families, who are living with cancer and other life-limiting conditions. The project reaches out to families from less privileged backgrounds who lack the resources for specialist care.

Chris Bryant, Co-owner and Managing Director commented ‘Drive Personnel is local business that is very much involved in the local community and as such we want to help and support local good causes. Whilst the work of this specific project takes place outside of the UK, the Countess Mountbatten Charity is very much a local good cause and moreover so many local people benefit from the great work they do. With all of this in mind we were delighted to be able to fund Ruth’s place on the trek and we wish her every success’

Ruth Andrews, Fundraising Manager at The Countess Mountbatten Hospice said ‘Lovely to hear from you. Yes of course: We are delighted by the support Drive Personnel has given us. Drive Personnel has played a part in ensuring our first overseas challenge event is going ahead and will be a successful fundraiser for Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity.
